Mariana Fischer-Militaru holds a Master's Degree in Indo-Tibetan Buddhism and is a Certified Mindfulness Instructor. She has been teaching Meditation and Yoga classes for the last five years at Cal State Fullerton OLLI and Rancho Santiago College and she gives regular presentations on mindfulness at various government and private organizations.
